My Background
I have been playing the guitar and bass for over 40 years both professionally and recreationally. I have worked with a veritable who's who of legendary artists, and am happy to share the wealth of info that I have amassed over my career.
The Great Quest
Two things make up an individual's sound, their hands. No matter what amp and effects they use, the bulk of what you hear comes from their fingers. How they attack the strings, how they fret the strings; no two do it the same way.
Effects are the thing that get us one step closer to achieving those sounds that we have heard and become infatuated with.
My Unbiased Opinion
I'm just here to tell it like it is; what works for me, may not be what works for you. But, it may just point you in a direction that you hadn't considered.
